In general, imports from China are paid for either by Letter of Credit ("LC"), or wire transfer against copies of shipping documents ("TT at sight"). TT at sight terms may require a deposit; the standard amount is 30% of the FOB price.

FOB prices from suppliers are quoted in US Dollars, almost without exception.

As your sourcing and exporting agent we will obtain the best possible sales terms for you. We will also ensure that the suppliers pay all required export and documentation charges so that prices are true FOB prices.

Ocean freight charges are either prepaid or collect. If we prepay the ocean freight charges on your behalf, you pay only our rates on ocean freight, there is no commission on ocean freight. We can usually also arrange inland freight beyond the import point if required.

All import duties, Customs charges, brokerage fees, and port charges in the country of arrival must be paid separately by you as the importer (the “customer of record”).
